Who is Dallas?
I enjoy some weird stuff like glitch art, show tunes, Dungeons & Dragons, and really bad horror movies. But more importantly, I am a graphic designer with a focus in print media and production design.
What’s my motivation?
I grew up with a drive to be a part of any art I could get my hands on, from creating digital art to scenic design and construction, photography to video editing and so much more. All of this experience in different artistic mediums has helped me realize that everything tells a story. As long as I can play a part in the legacy of a story I can be proud of, I will be happy.
People create in their own unique methods. I am used to working with whatever is around me and making the most of what is available. I think more clearly in the moment and feel comfortable letting my instincts guide me.
I've always loved puzzles. Put a problem in front of me to solve and I'll dive in head first. There's something about really digging your mind into your work that, to me, feels like I'm truly telling a story to the viewer. I have always enjoyed designing in various shapes, sizes, and formats because it's a constant puzzle to combine the right materials and techniques to make art that truly tells a story.
